[Early 2024] The American Sun-Light News (& Literature) Podcast presents the 20th Edition, which regards the efforts of the Revived Citizens Party, a.k.a., Party of Commons, and the Generation Jumpstart Club to help with two petition drives about establishing a ward system for the Federal Way, Washington City Council (Citizens Initiative 24-003) and, additionally, a shortening of the length of terms (from 4 years to 2) for all Washington State municipal councilmembers through State Initiative 2020. These two initiatives are a continuation of past petition drives on different subjects, although a year respite from the previous one that, unfortunately, did not get enough signatures to make it to the ballot. Also, a preview of the 2024 U.S. Congress race in Washington State's 9th District. Our Mark Greene is a (R) candidate.

1944: Endurance

1944 was a historic and decisive year for the Allies in World II, everything from the D-Day invasion, Operation Overlord, to the Battle of Leyte Gulf in the Philippines. It was also a tough and enduring year for the home front in trying to keep things together and the materials of war humming for our soldiers, sailors, marines and coast guardsmen, and Detroit, Michigan, as the "Arsenal of Democracy", played a vital role in the materials of war operation, with Mark's mother, Ellen Greene, a child of Detroit, ages 10 and 11, during that challenging year of steady endurance. Generation Jumpstart is woman-oriented although technically open to both sexes (adult late teens to 24, or thereabouts), politically active (anywhere from moderate to conservative or traditional but will consider any political outlook), athletically inclined, aesthetically aware regarding looks (that also means no tattoos), studious, savvy and streetwise. We are affiliated with the Party of Commons.
Interested young women who fit the profile, especially baseball players and boxers or athletes in general, join us today. Also, we're looking for politically savvy "Jumpstarters" to sign up for our discussion meetings that take place in coffee shops. Let's get the ball rolling for populist economics, patriotism, and isolationist, non-interventionist, national-oriented politics.
